Easter Series

Come celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior with us! Connection Point invites you to join us as we explore the meaning of Easter and the depth of the love of Christ for us.

On Palm Sunday, the children will hold a palm branch procession in celebration of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

On Good Friday, we will dedicate ourselves to each-other’s service just as Christ did for his disciples.

On Easter, Connection Point will celebrate Christ’s resurrection by breaking bread together over an Easter Morning breakfast at 10:00am and an Easter-egg hunt for the children.

Let’s come together to hear the true meaning of Easter and experience the power of Christ’s death and resurrection!

In February – Victorious – Philippians

To be victorious is quite often defined as to be successful. When it comes to success, we have specific criteria on what it means to be considered successful and/or victorious. This month of February, we will be exploring the apostle Paul’s perspective on what it means to live a victorious life through his letter to the Philippians. Join us for this quite intriguing and surprising exploration.

Some of our new year’s resolutions for 2012 might have been to become more spiritual, pray more often, go to church, or read the whole Bible, twice…?!@#

When it comes to the reading of the Bible, we might already have in mind parts of the Bible that we want to skip for sure. Perhaps, some of the parts is found in the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus addresses the law. Join us in January 8, 15, and 22 as we will explore together some of Jesus’ challenging sayings about “The Law.”

Moreover, what happen if we can see Christ everywhere, everyday, and every situation all year long? How would that impact and change our day-to-day life in 2012? When it comes to church, what do you believe? Moreover, what do Christians believe? As basic as these questions might sound, a number of people today might go to church without really knowing what they believe. So, do you know what you believe? Why? Is it relevant at all? During this month of August, we will reflect on some of the core Christian beliefs, how we apply them specifically at Connection Point, and how relevant these beliefs are to our daily life. So, starting on August 7, join us for the series “Beliefs.”

One of the big words in Christianity is discipleship. Disciple is basically to be Kaleo “called to” follow. What does it mean to be kaleo “called to” follow Jesus? Are we going to be the people who have it all together? Are we going to do everything right? More importantly, what are we called to do as disciples of Jesus? Join us in July for the series Kaleo (Called to) as we explore together the big word discipleship based on the Gospel of Mark.
